BIOGRAPHY
Ameer Law was founded by Malik Muhammad Suliman, with the firm name dedicated as a tribute to his late father, a World War II veteran. In establishing his firm, Malik sought to provide effective and comprehensive legal representation in the areas of Real Estate, Family Law, and Wills and Estates. Client-satisfaction and reliability are the core values of his practice.
Malik received his Master’s degree in Chemistry and Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from University of the Punjab, Pakistan. After moving to Canada, Malik explored his interest in the law while studying as a paralegal at Seneca College. While working as a paralegal, Malik gained substantial experience in the areas of Small Claims and Landlord & Tenants matters.
Malik’s keen interest in law paved his path to become a lawyer in Canada. He completed the requirements of National Committee on Accreditation (Federation of Law Societies of Canada) to obtain Certificate of Qualification. To satisfy his articling requirements, Malik has participated in the Law Practice Program (LPP 2014-15) administered by Ryerson University and Law Society of Ontario. Malik was called to Bar in June 2015.
Malik has since worked in the areas of Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Family Law, and Wills and Estates. Through his diverse practical experience and educational background, Malik has developed a comprehensive set of skills and expertise, which he applies to complex legal issues pertaining to Family Law, Real Estate and Wills and Estate.
Malik is an active member of the local community, and strong advocate for his clients. Outside of the office, Malik dedicates his time to his family and friends, and is actively involved with various charity initiatives locally and internationally, the most recent of which involves the reconstruction of a mosque in Gambia which was destroyed by severe weather conditions.
Malik is licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
